Information for Mini-Symposium Speakers

Talks are scheduled for 20 minutes with 5 minutes for questions and preparations for the next talk. 

All rooms will be equipped with a data projector and screen. Projectors can be connected to with a standard VGA adapter.

Each room is equipped with a desktop computer under Windows.  The speakers are advised to upload their presentations in advance, in coordination with the session chairs.  Using a personal laptop is also an option.

Should speakers choose to use their own laptop, chairs are encouraged to co-ordinate with the speakers to use only one laptop for the entire session.

Information for Poster Presenters

The maximum size of the poster is 1.2 meters x 1.2 meters (4'.0'' X 4'.0''). Please ensure that text and figures are clearly visible from at least two feet away. Please arrive an hour before the poster session begins to set up your poster. 

Internet connection

Internet connection is available throughout the University of Alberta campus via eduroam.  Another option is to use the freely available but time-limited network Guest@UofA.  No password is required for the latter option.
